When I visited Japan, I fell in love with the 7/11 onigiri.

1. I admired it’s efficiency of packaging, one fluid movement wrapped the nori to the rice and the nori was still fresh and crunchy
2. Most of them tasted great, the rice was perfectly cooked
3. You could easily grab one, stuff it away and sit in a park and munch on it without getting your fingers messy.

I ate so many 7/11 onigiri in Toyko that I was inspired to create the perfect visual of my idealized 7-11 onigiri. This iteration had more of a bright city pop feel.
